The Paragon DJ Academy is a new and retro style workshop aimed at teaching experienced DJs and beginners the art of scratching and cutting. With the emphasis on vinyl as the medium, students can express themselves to the music in a new and exciting way manipulating turntables to produce breathtaking scratches and patterns.
The level of creativity gained in this workshop can ideally be used to get the most out of digital scratch systems like Serato.
Additional classes will be added in the future to cover MC skills and Digital DJ workshops.

Students are expected to bring a turntable, a record sample for scratching, a small scratch mixer and over head headphones.
